Dallas Jewish Historical Society offers a variety of workshops throughout the year to assist in your personal preservation and research projects.

PRESERVATION 101

An ongoing, quarterly workshop taught by our DJHS Archivist; providing help and instruction on how to preserve important personal, family, and business documents and photographs.

PHOTO ID

A periodic workshop, led by our DJHS Archivist,  teaching a basic tutorial of early photograph types, when they were used, and how to identify them; as well as how to manage a personal collection.

GENEALOGY

A quarterly workshop, held in partnership with the Dallas Genealogical Society – Jewish Special Interest Group. Each series brings in an expert in varying aspects of genealogical research and know-how, to provide guidance for those with an interest in finding out more about their personal histories

SCANNING DAYS

DJHS provides periodic opportunities for our members, and the community, to bring in and receive assistance digitizing important documents, photographs, and memorabilia.
