Aron Finkelstein discusses growing up in Russia and moving to the United States around the first World War. He discusses his education in Vilnius, public school in the United States and attending Columbia University. Growing up in a non-religious house, he discusses religion and his family dynamics.

Marjorie Fine at 96 years old discusses her weekly schedule as an independent woman, which includes volunteer work at Presbyterian Hospital, water therapy, going to Temple, and visiting her friend. She talks about her family roots, growing up in New York, and how she has two children, 6 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. In 1957 she moved to Dallas to be close to her children. She worked at the department store Titche-Goettinger and was part of the Leisure club at Temple Emanuel.

Nellie Finberg discusses how her parents came to Dallas, and the various places she lived in Texas. She talks about growing up Jewish, her school education, and growing up Jewish in a small town. She stresses the importance of family and discusses how her family celebrated Jewish holidays as a family.

Goldie Falk discusses her family dynamics growing up in Dallas in the early 1900’s. She discusses her many moves around the country as an Army wife with two children. After her husband’s retirement they ended up back in Dallas where they attended Shearith Israel alongside other family members. She discusses her opinion on Jewish life, and how the Dallas Jewish population has grown since she was child.
