Suzie Ablon
Suzie was born in 1935 in Dallas, Texas. A natural saleswoman, she was a pivotal employee in the catering business for 35 years. She has a big passion for rhythm and dancing, has been an important contributor to the Dallas Jewish community, and led the Federation drive in 1962.

Lois Finkelman
Grew up in Chicago and studied at Northwestern University where she met her husband. She moved to Dallas for her husband’s pediatric residency and got involved in the League of Women Voters and National Council of Jewish Women as a volunteer.

Herb Bennet
Born in 1923 in Fort Worth and grew up in the small town of Breckenridge, Texas. Herb graduated in 1940 and attended University of Texas in Austin

Craig Budner
Born in 1964 in Dallas
Now an attorney, he received the Ann Loeb Sikora Humanitarian Award from the Dallas Jewish Historical Society in 2013 for his philanthropic work in the Jewish and general communities.
Craig was originally interviewed on March 3, 2013 prior to being honored. He was subsequently interviewed on August 4, 2022 by Rose Hurwitz, an SMU PhD candidate studying disaster relief and resiliency.

Hylton & Veronique Jonas
Met at a synagogue in South Africa.
They got married in 1972 and immigrated to US in the year 1982
