Theodore “Teddy” Neusbaum was interviewed on April 6, 2001. He discusses growing up in a small village in Germany during the rise of anti-Semitism. Neusbaum explains he had to get out of Germany when he realized he was no longer seen as a Germany, but a Jew. Neusbaum then talks about moving to Brooklyn, NY, and working at a delicatessen during the day, while he attended school at night.
