Mervyn Jacobs is a second-generation South African, with roots in Lithuania. A member of Chabad of Plano, Mervyn had visited Dallas often before choosing to move here upon leaving South Africa and emigrating to the United States. Mervyn was interviewed by Joan Gremont on March 1, 2016.
